SEPTIC TANK TREATMENT

Septic Tanks, normally are, anaerobic systems, generating foul smelling Methane and Hydrogen Sulphide (smell of Rotten Eggs) gases. Anaerobic bacteria cause huge problems as they produce a black slime which blocks the soak away and the porosity of the soil, resulting in poor percolation of the wastewater into the ground. Also sludge settles at the bottom of the soak pits requiring frequent cleaning up, after every few years which is a costly proposition.
